Welcome to POTN! Your images look OK to me, but I generally like a lighter feeling to images of children.
VERY simple "outdoor studio"

I actually like how your pictures capture the culture and surroundings. The only thing I have against the pictures is too much orange for my eyes haha. If there was constant variety, each picture would stand out from each other. Welcome to POTN.

I might say it is right on par with a car hobby lol. Besides being a collector of cars:)

And, if you make a mistake, you just get a crappy shot. In some of those other activities listed, you can break your neck or drown. ;)

Yep, you get lots more do-overs in photography than in many other expensive hobbies.
