You guys that think I'm worrying are dead wrong. I'm simply gathering information. But it doesn't bother me if you want to spend your time misinterpreting someones post. I'll continue to use my lens just the same.

I am only checking my lens after the info was brought to my attention about movement, not trying to put a damper on anyones post or experience. But I took out all of my lenses just to check them. IS it possible it is wear on the body? I have heard that heavier lenses tend to pull and weaken the ring. Check another lens and see what you get.

It's simply just that the hole for the locking pin is larger than the pin itself allowing a slight movement, on my camera and lens anyway.

A couple from today, been playing around trying to get better results. This lens doesn't seem to play too well on my new 7D for some reason, but loves the 5D MK3

Have had the lens about a year now (on my 40d), however this shot is from my first outing with my new 7D. This lens paired with 8fps and 18 mp, and its got some serious reach.

This shot is nearly 100% crop, 500mm, 1600 iso.

Cannot really argue with the OS on this lens. This shot was taken deep in the woods. 6400 iso, 340mm and only 1/125th @ f8.0

Hi Guys n Gals i got home from Egypt at around midnight last night checked my emails to find a reply from Sigma on the issue of movement between the lense and body, to cut a long story short it is absolutely nothing to worry about and the movement is the locating pin hole on the lense this is designed to stop movement encroaching on the contacts. After a quick look i can confirm this is the case and nothing to do with the lense or camera mounts its just the locking pin.:D:D:D

Have any of you guys used this lens with a TC?

I think my camera died, and if so I might go full frame. But, I don't want to lose the reach I have with the Bigmos on a crop camera.

Any experience with the Bigmos and a TC?
