I usually don't ever need long focal lenses so I'm thinking my prime trio is going to be:

14mm f/2.5 or 17mm f/1.8
25mm f/1.4
45mm f/1.8

Thoughts?

Looks good to me. 14 f/2.5 is underrated, I enjoy that lens, you can get it used like $160.

love the 17mm...it's my general walk around lens. I find the 50mm (25 f/1.4) equivalent a little bit too tight for general use. Although peeps really rave about that lens :D

Cool!! :D

Yes, I left the Philippines too... and where I am right now I realized lugging around all those DSLR stuff is gonna be a bit too heavy without a car. I want the camera to be with me almost all the time so after having the E-M5 for a few months I decided to sell all my remaining Nikon stuff, tripod etc...

I just got myself a peak design leash and cuff.:D I haven't even tried using it:lol: I was choosing between the E-PL5 and E-PM2 as second body but ended up with the E-PM2 after I held and tried em both, I like the simply controls of the E-PM2 and have no problem shooting with it in M mode at all.

Yes I am in Japan that's why those FF stuff got so heavy very quickly, commuting and all the walking I do made me think about going small. And then I went to a big photography expo and saw these m43 stuff on display with big printed photos taken with Pana GH2/GH3 cameras, researched about it and well the rest is history :D

The E-P5 is sexy but I am holding on for the next OM-D upgrade, while I am satisfied with the IQ, I really miss the good AF-C of DSLR so I hope the next update will have a better AF-C implementation.

Agree. Oly will get Sony sensor since now Oly starts making lenses for Sony. What I've read the next OM-D will be able to use FT lenses so hopefully AF-C also improves.
