Evening All

Boy was I k*ackered when I got home :( A long hot day but shared in good company ~ it was nice to see you all again :D and I would add my thanks to Andy for organising it and thanks to Ian because I only got to go because he dropped out :)

As Adrian said the bar has been set high............if any of mine come close I will be pleased but they are still 'sitting' on the CF cards, nigh on 24GB worth of them. So will see what I can do (uploading, culling, first cut & PP as needed?) soonly and post them..............I promise I will not do "a Neil" ;) ;)

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

You should send this one to the centre I sure they would like it.

Lightroom on a work computer, that would put ours into meltdown, until six months ago I only had 512mb of ram, we are the centre of technology in the Met !!

It really was a great day.....Thanks Andy.

Adrian was a bit closer than Penel, was more despair than sleep. I really could not get it right that day (not that I ever do).

Here's a few of the ones that are worth posting.

Hi Andy, I especially like these ones :D

I have yet to PP any...............did the first cull & sort into separate folders, deleted about 200 that were total losses out of 1007. Now in their own folders I need to be even critical to delete those that just do not pass muster or worthy of PP'ing.

Will post some soon I promise ;)

Great pictures all. Only had a quick scan through mine, not had time to look properly. Hopefully will be able to get some posted at the weekend.

Well this one was maybe hasty but only had time for a quick 'decision' & rough & ready PP.......well that is my excuse & I am sticking to it ;)

FWIW no cloning of the jessies required on this one!

I have worked that little bit harder ;) on getting the best out of Juan Carlos. This was where we asked for him to be placed in amongst the leafy branches of the trees. PP wise used LR5 radial filter to bring the face out a little from the shadows and gradient filters to knock back the brighter highlights in the BG, and slight crop to reduce the eye falling too much to right hand side with the Owl's right eye just about on the "thirds".

Hope you like him :D
