I don't see much of the wildlife living in my local Provincial Park these days. My hiking buddy is very noisy, but thankfully he's cute:

Pat that is a heavy load. My guess is that you will not be hand holding like you usually do.

^^ Paul, you know me I'm not a tripod guy. It's a lil bit heavy but tolerable hehehe. Btw, construction is on the way for the upcoming US OPEN. I see ya there...

^^ Thanks...It's cool to be at the 600mm but it takes a lil hit on the AF on my 1D-series bodies and the IQ can be corrected during pp. It needs a lot of LIGHT that I can tell ya. Enjoy yours and post 'em up :)

Several places I've read that it will help to stop down to f11. How are you finding that ?

Ricardo,
Just for you. They won today.
On another note, I have determined that my 1.4xii really is not that good for long shots. IQ takes a beating

As you may well know, "There is no second".
The rest is on the "July 9" file along with a couple movies.

Spent the Thursday morning with Pat (finally met him and Butch) in THE WEDGE, and this shot was taken in Huntington beach that morning too. Critics welcome this is my first try of shooting surfers and definitely I'd love to do it again. Thank you Pat and Butch for meeting up with me I appreciate the hospitality of both of you and Dan O.
