First time I have seen and captured this bird.

Congrats and well done, John. W/ these I was at the "right place...", so I better quit complaining:o Had a flock of 15 or so that landed right next to the viewing platform for several days in a row. Took some portraits even. Post 1 or 2 last winter. A quick move or noise would send them off for some circling but they'd return-gave my IF opportunities. Fairly fast, so good work on your 2nd shot.
