A couple of folks commented on a recent shot of the Wallace River showing more scenery than I usually show. Here's one more. This was shot at 100 mm, from the bank of the river at my dock. The two eagles perched in the tree across the river are slightly beyond my range. ;)

Thanks Duane, it makes life very enjoyable here. And me too, first thing I do when I walk down to the dock,is check the trees for white heads :). It makes a pleasant surprise when a Juvie takes off that I didn't see ;)

I think there are three eagles, possibly four.

Thanks very much. In this shot, the tide was on its way out, all that grass in the middle is covered at high tide.

Haha, that is entirely possible, although I only saw the 2 who both took off soon after this shot. Just for comparison, here's a shot at low tide of roughly the same scene. This is when the eagles are more active, as it's easier for them to catch fish in the shallow water.

Looks great. I could just spot the two Eagles in the 1st shot. If I lived there I don't think I'd get much work done (unless you count bird photography as work) :)

Thanks very much, Mark x 2 ;). When there is little else to do, I walk down to the river's edge, sit in a chair I have down there, and just look and wait. Hey, I AM retired, so I'm allowed! :)

It does look like that dead tree points up to a third eagle!
