Seriously considering a move to a 6D, so my full frame collection would look like:

24-105 f/4
70-200 f/4
40 f/2.8 (own)
85 f/1.8 (own)

Don't shoot a lot of wide angle stuff, so 24mm on FF may be wide enough. Already have the 40 and 85 and really like them on my crop sensor.

i have

8-15 f/4
16-35 2.8 II
50 1.2
70-200 2.8 IS II
400 2.8 IS II

i had a 35 1.4 for a year. thought about getting that again, plus 85 1.2 II, though i hate how slow the 85 is at focusing.

recently i've been wanting a 100 2.8 macro and 24 tilt shift.
wouldn't mind having 24 1.4 and 135 f/2. maybe 14 2.8 also.
or a 14-24 2.8 if/when they make that, then get the 35 again and sell the 16-35.
when i've rented the 24 tilt shift, sometimes i wish i had the 17 tilt shift instead.

I have preferences but am not a dedicated "xxx" shooter, so I'm enjoying the versatility of zooms so that I can shoot basically anything. I'd add some primes to the mix as well. My "ideal" setup would be:

24-70 2.8 ii
70-200 2.8 IS ii
35mm 1.4
40mm 2.8
85mm 1.8

My realistic budget-constrained setup and what I have now is:

24-105 f4
70-200 f4 is
40mm 2.8
50mm 1.8

Honestly, I find my actual lens setup to be enough for my needs. I have a 6D so f4 usually suffices (esp with IS on both of the zooms) and if I need faster I go with the primes. I also love the 40mm pancake, that with the 6D is probably my most used combo.

Right now this is what I have:
16-35II, 70-300VC
35mm 1.4, 85mm 1.8

I've been considering adding the 24-70 f/4.
I've also been considering upgrading the 70-300 so a 70-200 variant or maybe even the 100-400 or 70-300L again, but the 70-300VC is such a value it's hard to rationalize a swap.

For fuji I have:
8mm, 18mm, 35mm, 18-55mm. I want to get the 10-24mm as soon as it's out, then swap my primes to the 23 and 56 (35 and 85 equivalents). Then maybe add the 55-200. But I'll keep this kit in the 3~5 lens range as well. Basically I'll have a landscape kit (zooms) and a port/family kit with the primes.

so you went from 70-300VC to 70-300L to 70-300VC again?

That's a pretty odd way of doing things, what's the reason for it? I recall reading your blogs and under the impression you were going all mirrorless as well, not anymore?
