How's the image quality with it at 16mm @f2.8, on a ff?

This lens is designed for APS-C sensors -- there are much better options for full frame.

For what it's worth, I've used this lens many times on a FF camera, and I've always liked the results. If you think about it, you're basically getting a 16mm f/2.8 prime lens for a pretty cheap price. Nothing else on the market is that cheap. Yes, it vignettes a bit even at 16mm, and forget about putting filters on there, because then it will vignette REALLY bad. The Tokina 16-28mm f/2.8 is designed for FF cameras, and it performs pretty well, but you can't use filters period on that thing because of the front lens element. The Canon 16-35 f/2.8L is a completely overrated lens and a very average performer for the cost, in my opinion. If you're really looking for a f/2.8 UWA lens, there aren't a lot of ways to win...

I just wanted something that would work with both...wide for crop(60D) and ff(6D), without losing any IQ. How's the distortion at 16mm on a FF?

People do use this on FF and get pretty good results:
https://photography-on-the.net …p=14425954&postcount=3304
https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=935764

But if I were looking at a lens to use with both formats, I'd probably get this this (external link) instead.
