They look very similar. You'll see them many times feeding among groups of Snowy Egret. It's believed they take advantage of their similarity for the added safety in numbers.

Your Tern shot is a real beauty, great capture.

I'm new to BIF. I had no idea how much fun I was going to have when I started taking these shots this spring. Birds have become one of my favorite subjects.

The only problem... I now lust after telephoto primes...

Well done ace. The second one is a finch or grosbeak and the last looks like a Red-tailed Hawk.

I'm going with a Blue Grosbeak.

Scubadude, really like the tern shots.

Also Candor, the 2 eagles fighting over the fish is unreal.

Got this one yesterday evening. 40 knot winds and hand held, so I am somewhat pleased with the result.

This is an extreme crop, so the quality's not the greatest, but it's my first photo of a White Ibis.
