Did they plant the McKee Beshers Wildlife Management Area? I went there last year, but they did not plant it.

Because you went too early, last year peak about August. McKee Beshers this year peak at July 13 and expected to stay so for 2 weeks. There are 7 locations, so happy shooting :)

Thanks for the info. I am planning to go this weekend for some night shooting. When I went two years ago, there were literally 200 photographers roaming around the field. The second the sun set, they all disappeared, leaving the field empty for some night photography. This is what I got on that trip.

Very cool! What sort of regulations do they have for shooting there? I always see the amazing images but have never made the trip.

Hello, all!

I'm semi-retired and am looking to broaden my photography skills! I live in the Clifton/Centreville area and would be interested in participating in any meetups in the metro area! I'm somewhat over my head in using the 5DM3! There's only so much reading one can do, and I need to get out more with other amateur or professional photographers and take some pictures! Please add me to your distribution of upcoming events. If anyone would like to meet up somewhere for a photo shoot, please contact me!

Here is a shot from the McKee Beshers WMA on Saturday. The weather cooperated, but the mosquitoes did not.
