My gf helped me with photos today. Gotta use my 70-200 for portraits.

She also made me a watermark.

It was faint and on the horizon but they were clearly there. I don't know if I've ever been so excited in my life to take a photo. When I get home this evening I'll up load it and show you guys, but I just had to tell you this morning. lol Jason: 60d user. I like the colors but feel like it's a bit over as well. Is the halo effect around the trees bothering you too? Other than that it looks natural and very pretty. I'm actively lazy!!

I know it's faint but keep in mind I live in West Central Illinois which is about 39.5 degrees north. Not exactly northern lights territory. I was so excited to see them for the first time. ![]() arora ![]() ![]() I have a bunch more pics to go through so there may be better ones but I have a busy night tonight so I don't know if I'll get to them. I shot with my nifty fifty but it was a little too much reach. Jason: 60d user. My flicker page feel free to friend or contact me: http://www.flickr.com/photos/exorimadreamer/
