Yeah I have OM-D + some lenses. You've left the dark side huh ?. I'm thinking of getting E-PL5 some time in December.

Cameta has refurbed/factory demo E-PL5s on sale for $359 w/one year warranty. Why wait? ;) (external link)

Yeah, mine fell out within the first month. Terribly designed, IMO. They just come off so easily. I read on dpreview about someone using a Nikon eyecup that apparently has a better fit or something, have one on order from China.

I actually just removed my eyecup totally... then bought a brand new one and put it in the box so when I sold it, it looked brand new

Heh, nice. I just noticed a little nick on my EVF recently, which doesn't bother me personally, but if I ever sell this guy... I know some people are super picky

Maybe I'll get one of those screen protector thingies and cut it down to fit the EVF.

It was freaking awesome!! Damn new VF-4 is big... like if we compare it to DSLR Viewfinders terms the E-M5's VF = D90, while the VF-4 = D700

The WIFI thing with the smart phone as remote control is awesome for discrete photography as well since the camera is quite accurate, it is usable in Auto mode (this is the only available mode for remote control).

Small AF point too is awesome, although I later realized I also have it on my E-PM2. The two wheel is great, button placement is awesome too!! Only thing I don't like about it is the front grip (what's new?) haha

I actually sold it and got a new one again... (somebody offered a good price for it). ;) Then I bought another one

Recently got the 45mm f/1.8... it's more versatile than the 75mm f/1.8

I meant is it a lot smoother ? On OM-D's it's jerking at times.

I don't really remember ever having a jerky EVF on the E-M5... the VF-4 was smooth too :oops:

The only real advantage of the new VF-4 as far as I am concern is the bigger VF size:D
