Great images by everyone. I like I enjoy this section of the website so much is thinking about the history and stories these old building could tell. How much history is being lost. Only your photos to remember and tell a small piece of what might have happened there. Great job and thanks for sharing to everyone that has posted.

That's awesome! Looks movie ready for some whacked out horror flick. LOL

Thanks. Here's one of the dental operatories. This is what I imagine it must look like to a patient that just walked in. Maybe I should have spattered some more blood around. ;)

That's damn cool, Steve. The processing really works for these too.

Thanks, Todd!

A couple weeks ago I was driving on CA highway 58 when I saw an abandoned gas station on a side road that paralleled the highway. I went back today to check it out. Unfortunately, the noonday sun was a bit harsh. I need to go back again later in the day when the light is a little more soft. And, maybe stay late for a few long exposure shots using it as a backdrop.

It looks like there was a restaurant next to it that burned to the ground at some point:

I've probably driven past it a couple dozen times, myself. I don't know what finally caught my eye this time and made me want to go back...
