Holy crap that thing is small! I didn't think it was by that much.

If I still had a 10-22, I would seriously use the SL1 for really long backcountry camping trips to save weight and room. Carrying 17 lbs of full frame gear can be really brutal.

My brother just made a good point about the SL1 name based on the Canon advertising.

The always reiterate that it's the "Slimmest and Lightest." SL. I don't know if that is commonly known. Just thought it was interesting.

yah it is Str0 had it for a long time now! People said it didn't fit gripped bodies but I stuffed the crap out of it and use it all the time.

LOL I never used to give a rat's 455 about bags. Not sure why I've gotten the addiction, all of a sudden. Still love my Domke. But, I need to have a man-purse for every occasion!

I never thought I'd look forward to a Monday, so much. Tracking shows my new lens at the main facility in St Louis. It'll be in the post office waiting for me by 10:30am. I am so leaving work to pick it up.
