Maybe 10% for position in the frame. They pretty much just hung out, munching on an ocotillo and let us shoot.

One second of not paying attention and a dead battery is the result. I had been on a Jet Ski in the La Paz Bay. It has a double dry compartment in the front and that did real well. However when i got back to shore I pulled the bag out noticed a lens cap at the bottom and my right hand holding my gear dipped 2"into the water. .....The bags appeared dry on the inside i didnt think to check the side pockets... where my spare battery was. There is no visible sign of issue but the salt water must have just touched the connector end and shorted it out. I was able to get the camera for a brief second to work but it couldnt identify the battery then shut down again. I guess if i have a loss this is a good one but man it was just 2 seconds... bah.

I like the shot at the beach, it looks like taken with a Leica camera/lens.

Thanks! Two bare speedlights about 1' higher than him, maybe 15' apart, and 5' in front of him. Pretty symmetrical setup, he and camera were two opposite corners of a parallelogram, and the speedlights were the other two. The light to camera left was angled to get the backboard a bit more, but both of them hit it.

This was at the local middle school, about an hour after a thunderstorm, and 15 minutes after sunset.
