Not a bird. I was out today getting some Hummers in nice light and this one dropped in for quite a long visit, more than one minute on the same bud. Beautiful Flutterby.....and one more Hummer, lol

Cool color of electric blue, Nature never ceases to amaze me...not that it takes all that much, lol. Not really sure what brand this is, a Swallowtail? The wings look like a weaved cloth, lines like thread running through the wing,

All of the Butterfly's were, 1/200, f/11, iso 400, 800mm, 4.5m out

Of course, I had to show some more of Hummerdinger, it is a nonstop defense of the food, this guy is quite busy. I hope He stays long enough to fill that beautiful Gorget that is starting to show in spots

Not sure what the bf is, but swallowtails are a butter yellow.
Nice captures though.
