Can't claim to be much of a storm chaser, but I have tried to get out and capture some of the drama we've had of late...

I can honestly say I never had either! It was almost literally the last frame of what had been a three hour time lapse shoot and about 20 seconds later, the wind changed and blew the fountain right into me so I had to shut down and dry off. :(

There would have been more had I not gotten inundated. It's good water management, but that lake has a ton of chemicals in it from being recycled water. Really nasty stuff. Thought I'd trashed my 17-40 given the "orange peel" texture on the glass even after being dried and cleaned with a lens pen. :shock:
