Not a joke i spent grands on equippment in the last 2 years. Is this something to worry about? :S

I enjoy photography so much i think sometimes im crazy haha

I know someones not just saying its the last lens, but now i have to put a limit. I think i will not buy another lens or camera once per year

What is the best way to get cured of that expensive disease?

The best way is to put your credit card in a block of ice in the freezer. By the time it's thawed out, you may come to your senses and not make the purchase.

BTW, from your SIG, you don't have GAS. When you buy three of the Canon superteles and drop >$25k, then you have Gears Acquisition Syndrome.

What disease??? Don't worry about it. You're fine.

On a serious note, just make sure your photographs justify your expensive purchases. ;)

If you have GAS, given your Sig, I would assume you have bought/sold a lot of lens. :D

Here's my (current) strategy for fighting GAS:
1. Come up with your basic kit requirements to limit the number/type of lens (mine is a kit of five L glass and two bodies).
2. Don't buy another lens until you have taken --- and post processed --- at least 1000 to 5000 shots per lens you already own.
3. If you don't use a lens or body enough in a six month to one year period, sell it (you will have to decide what level of usage this actually means).
4. Don't buy a very expensive lens until you have borrowed and used it at least twice, demonstrating in practice (not on paper) why you need it.
5. Invest in lighting instead of more glass. Master your lighting setup before buying more glass.
6. Supplement your lens collection by borrowing from your friends. (i.e., entice your friends to buy that great deal on a used 600L mk I so that you don't have to buy it and could just borrow it).

Simple get an 800 F5.6 L IS - there is nowhere to go after that! Trust me it works - well it did for me!
P.S. this is not as silly as you may think as it is now my most used lens.
Also after seeing the results a friend of mine is getting doing landscape photography with his 600 F4 L IS, I have a new challenge!

Life is for living, cameras are to capture it (one day I will learn how!).

Get a wife.

You'll see plenty of folks on POTN who have their purchases kept in check by the significant other LOL!

I gotta agree with the others, by your sig, that is not G.A.S., you still have hope!

It's a chronic condition subject to occasional flare-ups. Taking lots of pictures with
existing gear and limiting your exposure to POTN often helps.
