SL8-s

I have an L bracket for my 60D but there isn't one available for my wife's SL1 so we have hers attached to a simple universal camera plate. I have mine attached to the bottom of my L bracket though RRS shows it attached on the side. Truth be told, I don't know what the strength of an L bracket is from the side. I know on the bottom the screw that attaches it to the camera body will keep everything rigid.

Been using it with the 7D and l-plate. Seems to be AOK.

Where's the rest?!

Anyone else finding the standard strap too long?
Patiently waiting for the aluminum slider......I might just give in and order w/o.

I bought the strap as-is without all the extra add-ons. :)

Strap is a good length for me. Ended up buying it with the plate attachment and have the strap attached on the right side of my 60D. Works well in keeping the camera tight against my body.

Yes, it's too long for me. I'm 5'6".

Just ordered one of these. Almost got the Carry speed fs-pro. But I really like the idea of the camera not moving when I walk with it. It seems all the other slings the camera would flop due to one point of contact. Hopefully it ships soon, will report back when I get it and provide a review.

Got the strap. It was shipped right away. I like the function of it and it is very smooth. Only issue I have is that it is too long for me as well. I would like it to "cinch" tighter but I am up against the stops. I am 5'-8" & 160 lbs.

So when are they planning on making available a shorter strap?

I am 5'7" and find the new straps as short as I need them to be - are you shortening the length on both sides?

The camera rests well above my waist and doesn't move....

Hmmm, This might be the ticket. I find my black rapids swings a little too much. Knocked my son in the brow when I went to pick him up one day at the zoo.

Can this still cinch up tight enough not to move while just wearing a t-shirt? The demo vid only has big jackets really. Also when cinched up with a t shirt does it grab the shirt all awkward and pull in weird places? Im 6'4 and skinny so there's not much to cinch onto lol
