Granted :D but once an aircraft carrier always an aircraft carrier

Just a matter of "fixed wing" or "rotary winged" aircraft. ;)

I went aboard HMS Illustrious once, many years ago, when she was moored up at Greenwich. That was somewhere between 1986 - 1992, when the Old Royal Naval College wasn't "Old" yet.

They were setting up a marquee on the flight deck, for some function or other, and had a harrier sat on the ski jump. I was part of a group of civilian college staff invited to come aboard for a visit.

What's the issue exactly??

Exporting images below 1/3rd of the original size, so web-sized, would result in the image forgetting the LR noise-reduction and sharpening applied. Therefore noisy blurry pics. Very annoying.

Ah, I'm glad you made it here. It's an amazing place. Though when I went, in July a few years ago the weather was far better - warm & sunny.

Yes it was beautiful but we didn't make it much further than this as the weather was changeable and freezing! Stunning though.

HELP!!!!

Smugmug has changed and it wont be long before I am forced to use their new design / layout / templates etc which I don't want.

I want basic and functional - in an ideal world I would like someone to build me a very easy to use version of my site as it is now with my domain name - i.e. galleries / sub galleries all titled - unlimited storage (as I also upload full sized photos as another backup) and easy to upload and modify.

I know it's a big ask BUT anyone here a bit clever this 'stuff' - if so please drop me a PM with some ballpark figures (will end up with 2 sites I expect as my wife is also with Smug)

Thanks in advance

.DAVID. x

@David have a look at zenfolio, i switched from smugmug to them and found them to be more versatile re website design and "relatively" easy to use. Can put high res images on there and the ability to sell images etc, i think they are slightly cheaper as well.

Adrian. Your not the first to recommend them, just looked into their 'transfer' tools and it looks pretty good so I may well be joining you soon.

And as Adrian mentioned it, ask him for a referral code if you like the look of Zenfolio. I'd give you mine but Adrian mentioned Zen first so it's only fair he gets the goods!
