Adrian. Your not the first to recommend them, just looked into their 'transfer' tools and it looks pretty good so I may well be joining you soon.

.DAVID.

I have been with them for quite a while now and been very pleased.

I use the cheaper version because I dont have the time (or inclination) to use fancy layouts so I use one of their 'ready made' page templates which works well for me - they have a reasonable choice on them too. You can always upgrade if you want to do more with your website in time.

Without re-checking though, I think you have to use the next package up to use your domain name? Worth checking that out.

Thanks to all that replied.

Andy - huge apologies - have just tried / started with Zenfolio but missed the bit where I could insert your code - once everything is up and running and all the domain etc is sorted I will contact them and see what they can do.

Why did I choose a race weekend to do this. . . . . . it's all going to end in tears lol

.DAVID.

Isnt the first month a free trial period? It used to be, in which case, the code option appears when you subscribe.

Here we go then, post number 15,000!!

A shot from Cirque de Gavarnie in May, edited in LR5 via teamviewer (I'm at work and the photo is on my computer at home, wonderful thing Teamviewer!) and then resized in photoshop!

Simpler than smugmug and cheaper than the pro version. if you have an hour or two you should have it sorted for the weekend.

I have moved my domain name already so when you click on my signature link it will take you to the new site (you can still access original site here: www.david-stallard.smugmug.com (external link) )

BUT

I am still transferring all the photo’s / galleries / sub galleries across which may take me a day or so to re-arrange the thousands of photo’s and make them all ‘live’. DON’T PANIC –

WHY did I choose to start this on a race weekend? yep – mad as a box of frogs lol.

REAL annoying part - all my previously posted images will end up as broken links, so for that I am sorry.

.DAVID.

LindaB - I was a little impatient and just played around for a while and jumped straight in and paid - too late now, all or nothing xxxx

Hi Ian

Easy to do than show???

Hmmm!!!! if you look at the properties you can see the code I have clipped...............but WTH have they done as the code is for a smaller image not the full size as it used to be :(

You get the code window by clicking on the "upload looking" symbol seen on top of the "email" symbol and to the right of the Google+ symbol and dialogue window opens and you will see this wash of code (copied below) and I have highlighted the bit you need to insert as the "image link" hereabouts:-

Edit ~ testing, testing.............using one of my images I get the full size so I surmise (quite logical really?) that others cannot embed 'other folks' full sized images.

Just remembered that the Cycle event comes through my part of Surrey on Sunday 4th, was hoping to get some pictures...............but cannot hold the darned camera at the moment :(

All because when I came home yesterday evening (Wednesday) and helped in the garden to remove a shrub stump, I/we then for efforts proceeded to A&E with a 3.5 hour wait ending up with 5 stitches in my right index finger............with added tetanus booster plus course of anti-biotics  :( Heh ho, golf ball sized dressing comes off on Saturday.....at least I get to see the end result with out all the blood........and all being well stitches out next Friday!

Still feel very silly to have done this to myself...............:( :o .............just have to :) and bear it!

Welcome back to the SE PoTN fold :D

Newer member Radders was asking about the Sigma 300-800 and I recalled that you had one at Donna Nook, pointing him to that trip thread. Did you ever hire that monster lens again???
