Thanks. It's funny how little I photograph my own city, familiarity = contempt and all that I guess. You definitely should make it back over though, there's a lot to photograph here.

I know the feeling! I know I need to get out and explore more because I'm sure Washington DC is hiding some gems that just need discovering!

This is how I got across the river, well under really.

I took eight days in Washington'D.C. last year and being from the flatlands of Illinois, I fell in love with riding the Metro. Until then, I always thought Foggy Bottom was like a local insult or a slur on politicians, LOL. Great city to visit, many wonderful things to occupy my family for an exhausting week. Really like your photos. Did you have to have an official permit for any of these?

Great shots everyone. This thread sort of died awhile back, but I have some more landmark photos for my hometown of Seattle. I would love for this thread to come back a bit. Miss checking it after I started it and it took off pretty nicely for awhile.
