Haley
SOOC, no white balance adjustment or anything. I was just testing my lights to make sure my triggers were working and came up with this one.

My first senior of the year. One of the sweetest girls I have ever photographed. Every time I would pay her a compliment, we would basically have to stop shooting because she felt the need to tell me how nice I was! It was kinda funny!

Tim, I trust you got permission to photograph on the RR tracks? #2 is nice, but in #3, she doesn't really "pop" out of the flowers.

Nope I got asked to leave actually on that shoot. Been shooting there for 3 years before someone said I can't be there.

It depends on where you live, it can be tough though unless you want to set your prices terribly low. A lot of schools are contracted out for senior/yearbook photos. Do something different than any one else in your area is doing and do it better. Then be patient.

What I did a few years ago when I was just getting started was contacted my son's yearbook adviser and let them know I was offering low cost shoots for kids who couldn't afford the big name photographers around town. i offered a shoot and burn type thing and sent the chosen picture on a cd right to the school and let the parents order pics on zenfolio...$75 is what I charged.... He actually sent me my clients, several had to be processed the last day possible to make the book but it got me up and running in no time.
