Hmm, don't wanna be harsh, but this image just doesn't "do it" for me. 5/10

-seems soft (could just be the thin DOF giving that issusion)
-busy background
-too dark

It would be more interesting if you filled the frame with 1 or 2 of the flowers. :)

Here's my 1st go at landscape photography. It's a sector I want to venture into for sure. So please, critique away!

Excellent shot. I keep trying to find something I don't like to give you some CC but I just can't fault this image. First I was unsure of the shadows on the right but looking at the entire image they work well. 9/10

The problem I have with this photo is DEF. I believe just the bigger flower should have been in focus. Also the exposure seems to be less than perfect, and the photo is not sharp enough.
I love flower photography though !!!

I look at your pic and although I like the PP, just find it overall too soft. I like softness but in your pic seems like its just too soft. 6/10, IMO.

H@@m let me think...
I can't describe by words how much like this picture :p
The only thing that could have been better is little more defined catch lights in the eyes, although this way its different feel and works very well too IMO.

looks over exposed and not liking the tilt at all. Interesting concept but it just isn't working for me 4/10

You're right, not a very good composition, and it seems to need some contrast. 5/10

The un-bloomed buds are in focus, which is weird. I was expecting the pink bloom to be crisper. Also, the sunlight on the flower itself gives it some blown out highlights that should be avoided. 5/10 here.

Not bad at all. I wonder how the shot would have looked like if the sun was a little bit higher on the sky, almost shining through that island?
The water is a little bit too dark though. Love the reflections of the sunset on the beach though !!!

Thanks, these are actually 10 foot sculptures that a groom had created for his bride at a wedding I videotaped over the weekend.

Like the fact that she has a dog in her hand, cute picture.
Couple of notes.
Pictures under direct sunlight are not a good idea, unless u create a silhouette effect.
The background car is very distracting, re-positioned the girl would have solved it.
Put a reflector from the darker side of her face to lift up those shadows

Picture idea - 9/10
Picture quality/execution - 4/10

P.S. Also give a rating next time for pictures too.
