ISS Flyover of Mt. Adams

Shot this while I was out scouting for locations for watching / shooting the Perseids this weekend. Anybody know of a good site (for viewing and shooting) that's <2.5 hours from Portland? Don't say Larch Mountain...it was way too crowded when I went up there for the Leonids a number of years ago.

Question to other viewers: Are the deep shadows at the very bottom of my flyover pic showing a lot of chroma noise? It looked OK on my desktop machine, but on my (calibrated) laptop it seems...off. Just wondering if it's something on my browser/system or something else...

@tigerotor77w -- Glad you liked it...

Uploaded a different version which pushes the shadows closer to black. It also looks like JPG compression and my too-bright laptop screen were also contributors. All fixed now...

That's a sweet shot! In fact, did you submit that for publication? I saw a shot just like that on KATU News today! Assuming that's Mount Adams?

I'm going to have to make a trip to Mt. Rainier. That park is amazing. Those photos are amazing as well. Nicely done, sullivanrp.

Haha I say that because an 8 mile hike led to a flop (the only fogged in part of the park for sunset... as we hiked back there was a bright pink sky of clouds above us, and looking back to where we were it was still darkness) - wrong place wrong time.

My timelapse of the milky way had some problems - dew on lens constantly needing to be cleaned - this created bumps in the motion of the timelapse...

and the morning at tipsoo was decent but it was my first time shooting wildflowers so everything was rushed and I know what I need to differently when I go back ( probably next summer :( )

anyhow, thanks everyone for the good feed back though haha...

and here is one more from the morning

Thanks kuya Pete! I'm still deciding on which size to go with
