Vinz! - a Magnificent capture of Magnificent Nature !

Do any of you guys know of a good replacement hard drive for a dell xps L502x? It had a 750 gig 7200 rpm Hitachi in it to begin with, but that died a couple of days ago. I would like to replace it with something as fast but size is not really important.

na just a regular hd. i would like something 7200 rpm rather than 5400. but really i just need to get this one working again so i can sell it and get something faster. i5 (even though it is a fast one, 2.5 gig with boost to 3.1), and 6 gig of ram, is just not cutting it.

Canon 20-35mm is a lone wolf out there and is cheap, compact, built well and has USM. I bought one last year and used it on my 5D, 5D2, 60D and a 7D. Pretty cool little lens.

Just took a look at it, very nice lens. Wicked deals on an L lens too.

Recently got the 30mm older version and I'm really enjoying. There's only a few faults that is easily corrected (except for 1)

-tends to underexpose - easily fixed with EC
-heavy distortion - quick fix in LR
-high minimum focus distance (I believe the new Art version has a shorter one)

I've read some things about the new 30 "A", and it seems that the CA on it is pretty bad. As long as the colors it produces are on the warmer side and the bokeh is good though I guess.

I wouldn't bother with the L version, it's larger heavier and doesn't even have a real ring USM. And optically, it's like a half stop better at best.

Willi I can't see anything on your flikr now it just says you have nothing available.

yup and when you click on the flickr it just says private page to us

Ah ok, the L version came up when I google'd the lens, but I see now one's FD mount and the non-L is EF mount.
