4 & 7 are my favorite out of the bunch.

1. Nice!
2. Slightly underexposed on her left side, fill flash? or reflector? Awesome leading lines though...and that bokeh!
3. Seems underexposed and flat. Definitely something you can fix in pp. Also, her left hand placement is awkward to me.
4. Nice! Watch out for her elbow though
5. Nice framing! In pp, try getting a tighter framing with those two posts on the outside of the gazebo and definitely align the "verticalness" of the shot with the posts.
6. Tad overexposed also seems flat, more pp!
7. Nice WA shot, probably dodge her a tad in pp.

Thanks for the critique! Will definitely help later on. My first time using the 85L too... loaned from a friend :P

Yeah good set. As someone else mentioned, #7 stood out to me as needing some dodging on her.

The blown out bridge is distracting in the last. I also think it may be a little too wide. Crop it a little and tone down that bridge, and I think you'll have a winner like the others :D

I use to do available light but now I'm leaning more toward a strobe setup outdoors. Really makes the image pop.

The color of the dress is all over the map. Might be OK for a single portrait, but might look weird in a set or portfolio.

Thanks Pirate, TJ, SoCal, and Badger

flaker: Not a Brenizer, just a wide crop with the 85 wide open. Would have liked to have tried but it was so hot the day we took the photos I would have felt bad if she had to stand there still for it.

Tiller: The bridge definitely caught my eye after looking at it. Will fix it in post again. Thanks!

Talley: Most of the photos were with an AB800 with beauty dish triggered by radio poppers. Was the only light I had aside from the sun... LOL. My wife would have helped out but she was tending to our 3 little ones playing at the park we were at.

Snafoo: I agree after I PP these photos. I only did the ones I liked the best to show the mom I got what she wanted. Will have to go back through them all and PP. Thanks for the input though :)
