Yongnuo 565ex pilot light stays green

I have a yongnuo 565ex flash that has the pilot light staying green? This is my second 565 due to my first one was one of the first run models that wouldnt fire. now this one wont due anything but turn on. any suggestions or tips how to fix it?

That was my first thought too Dan. When my batteries are getting close to dying, it just goes green and wont ever go to red. New batteries usually do the trick.

Try rubbing the contacts with a little alcohol to clean them.

I am having this same problem. Only had this for a little over a month and have not used it much. One time turning it on the light stayed green and it won't flash. The screen appears normal. I tried fresh batteries and no dice. Will try rubbing alcohol but the contacts look clean. Hope I don't have a dud.
