Not only a very nice image but What a Brilliant Gardner at work. How did they plan with such a precision in terms of detail and then that very right color?

Thanks, On the way to the Orchid room in the hallway they have pictures and diagrams on how they planned everything out. In hindsight I probably should have took some pictures of that and the nursery.

I've just bought myself a Helios 44/2.
It's been played around with by a company called Dog Schidt Optiks.

I had a quick walk around last night with mine & here's what I got.

Now you can either love or hate what they do to them, but personally I love it. I love the colours they can add to the flares, or the different option for the optics.

I think they're mainly aimed at the video market, but you can use it for both!

I would love to know what "specs" your lens is equipped with (tint, contrast, etc). I'm thinking of trying to make my own at some point.

Hey sorry for the slow reply, getting ready to get married at the weekend!

I went for the following...

Flare Factory 58 (EF mount) obviously ;) lol
Tint option Gold & Red (normal tint amount)
Contrast option: Low
Dirty option: None
External finish: Brush metal

I'm getting some fantastical results from it.

This is my first fully manual lens, so I thought focusing would be impossible.
But with Magic Lantern installed & live view it's actually relatively easy!

Are you using Magic Lantern's focus peaking and magic zoom to focus?

Certainly am. The focus peaking works like a charm. Only downside is it uses the battery up quicker.

I prob am too, there's so much on there I'm yet to understand! Especially the RAW recording. Still trying to get my head round that.
