The 5D and I got caught in a torrential downpour last night. I had to run 10 minutes back to the car while holding my camera under my T-shirt and tripod in the other hand. I'm happy to report the 5D seems to have made it alive through the ordeal.

I just bought my 5D last week and have not touched my 550D since. I absolutely love this camera! Here are a few shots I've taken with it so far. I only have the 50mm f1.8 for now.

The 5Dc can't back button focus can it? I went into the custom settings and got it to go to the * button but I can't get the shutter to meter at all.

I got it now thanks! I didn't notice the dial was on Tv mode which explains a lot. I usually only shoot in M.
