Linda - Maisie is so beautiful - I love tortoiseshell cats. The profile shot is my fave.

I"m going to try that technique with a dog then and see what happens.

Oh thanks Penel :D she is quite pretty isnt she. I have never had a tortoiseshell before, its always been black and then my black and white one we lost in February and I have never had a female before either, so the whole thing has been quite a new experience for me lol.

My next task with her is to get her used to a cat flap - more training with that this weekend (before the cold weather sets in as I dont want the back door open lol).

I thought no one would ask! ;)

I got an Audi A4 Avant S-Line on a 58 plate. Lovely and shiny it is! :)

Looks a bit like this:

Cheers :) the paddle shifters are fun! :)

I hope they work better than the paddles in my Merc C220. Manually shifting, even in Sports mode, is like trying to change gears through custard. So much for the double clutch, but I think it's more the computer system that is taking the fun out of it.

Did you go petrol or diesel in the end?

The paddles in my XF work amazingly well. Actually, in sports mode, the gearbox is almost telepathic without manual intervention. Jaguar really did this well.

Some new pics of our adoptee back at the end of May, Maisie, who is now loving the garden. She is a different cat now from when we first got her, her progress has been amazing.

First pic is one of her first trips into the garden during the second week of July (her adventures out were delayed slightly for various reasons) and the rest were taken at the weekend. She seems to quite like her photo being taken so hopefully I can continue to get some nice pics of her. My previous cat always walked away from the camera lol.

First trip into a garden:

and these are from the weekend:

Diesel. I haven't yet really had a good run in it and as it is the first time I've had a car that costs more than my camera gear - more than my bicycle even - I keep having a nagging doubt about whether I did the right thing! Pretty sure I did though!
