Thanks guys. I could see the clouds were shaping up for a promising sunset this evening so I drove a short way out to a spot I often use. Here's one I got with the 17-40L on 5DII.

Even the opposite part of the sky was lighting up nicely so I got right out into the open to take in the whole sky with the 8-15L at 8mm.

Then over the next few minutes the colours darkened a little more and I think this one caught the best of it.

Hi Everyone. Hope you're all well?

Having now moved into the area (Chandlers Ford), thought I'd throw up a post of some pics from last night. Bought a ND Grad filter kit, a 7xND and a 10xND so my partner Nicki kindly suggested we take a trip down to Hurst spit yesterday evening to try them out.

The usual critique will be welcome.

Nice shots, Andy. I also like the B&W pics, but the sunset ones are lovely too.

Doc, those shots of peregrines are awesome! Where did you take them?

Tomorrow, hopefully I will be getting my boiler fitted. After 6 weeks waiting. Cancelled the first order because they were too busy to fit me in! Now waiting for all the plumbing bits and boxed boiler to be removed, as another firm is starting in the morning. A chance of a hot bath is likely soon!

Becky.

Thank you Doc. Was in the area last year, but a little too early, last year. I think you really have some excellent shots there.

Like your pano, Mark. Wonderful sky!
