My Partner Nicki has just had to cash in an endowment in order to pay off her money grabbing bastarge of an ex-husband and has found out that its worth about 3K more than she expected!

I said invest it again however suits in the current climate.
She wants me to have it and buy a 5D3 and upgrade my lenses to Canon "L's".

I love her and hate her at the same time :confused::confused:.

cool, what a lovely lady

Looking at moving more into landscape type shooting (the sort of thing I posted at the death of the 16th) but still want to do BOP and London type shots as well as a bit of "street" stuff when i get the chance.

thats a tough one, 5D3 is better for IQ than the 1d4 but the 1d4 is a 1 series! I really liked the 1D4 when I borrowed Robs, high ISO is better on the 5D3 but there is something about a 1d that is just awesome, I suppose it depends what you want to do with it really..

ahh ok well I would look at the 5D3 then, its no 1D but probably a more all round camera.

Thanks Mark. IQ is really important as is ISO handling and for that i'm drawn to the 5, BUT.........while I cant run to a 1DX, I like the idea of a 1 series.

Think I'll look at the specs on a 1D4 and see if it does everything I need.

Hi Matt

What lovely set of images, I would hope the B&G are delighted with them and of course all the others you took

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p
