6D made in China? Is that even possible? If its grey market then its still an ok deal but ifnits made in China then there's something wrong there.

RytherCamera has 6D for $1289.99 without Wifi and GPS but I don't know how about this vendor.

RYTHER listings always, ALWAYS gets NEGATIVE on Slickdeals, and folks at Slickdeals are pretty deal savvy!

Is that even an option on the 6D? What did they do...take it out? I wouldn't trust Ryther...EVER!

This was stated by Rythercamera when I called them 2 weeks ago.

Canon 6D Gray market (outside NA) had the option of wi-fi only or GPS only or nothing at all... which is a big + in my opinion. Ill never use them.

This website also had the 5D mkIII for $2250 last week and I was tempted to "try them out". But I just figured its not worth the $300 in savings and guessing what im actually going to receive.

USA 6D is $1798.00

Part number EOS 6D Body

So I guess this one at $1299.00 is a gray unit but still the savings is quite significant.

Part number MPN: 8035B002

Part numbers are not the same on the web pages….Hmmm…..However part number 8035B002 is the same one B&H has listed……
They take AMEX so I may try it or not they have a number perhaps I should call….

This is pretty hilarious. For those of you thinking about ordering from known bait-n-switch companies such as Digital Monster and Ryther Camera (even after being warned), I can't wait to see your reactions after doing so.

I received the 6D from "Getitdigital" today with retail lens kit box without lens. The camera seems to be brand new so I am happy with this vendor. Will do some test shots tomorrow.

Keep us posted is it a USA or Gray goods body? $1299 one?

Just a thought, but if you've been looking at the CIPA sales numbers and company financial reports, all of the camera makers have too much inventory lying around that people aren't buying. I think at the least, Canon will replicate their 6D deal a while back (kit + printer for $2000 AR) during the holiday season, or something equivalent or better. I'm planning to wait myself until a deal comes again from an authorized dealer.
