Amazon gives discounts for pre-orders ($16.47) so I ordered the book. The full title explains a bit more about what topics will be covered:

Understanding Shutter Speed: Creative Action and Low-Light Photography Beyond 1/125 Second

Could be decent.

I ordered it for the "Beyond 1/125th Second" aspect.

Bryan Peterson's books are always a good read. I'll definately get this when it comes out. Buy.com has it a bit cheaper, although the release date there is later? Weird. I'll wait until it is released first though.

Understanding Exposure is hands-down the best photo book I own, so I'll be getting this.

Bryan Peterson is a great author when it comes to teaching the fundamentals in an easy-to-understand manner. When I started out, I learnt a great deal from UE.

I expect that Understanding Shutter Speed has grown out of his feedback from his classes, so it's filling a gap that's not covered by UE in some way.

I always learn something new from his books (as well as other books out there). After a while, they all start to repeat to some degree
