^ That is gorgeous. My mind plays tricks on me with that shot -- if I look just away from the lady, she seems almost transparent.

+1 ~ and yes she does seem a little ephemeral.

Evening all. We're off to stay in the smoke for the bank holiday week. I need a new camera bag. I was hoping to go to a local shop to try a couple, but there don't seem to be any. Can anyone recommend somewhere to go fairly local to me please?

Wayne I don't know what there is in Ashford but there is Seymour Harrison's in Guildhall Street Folkestone you could try.

Cracking shots over the weekend everyone, Andy congrats on the new camera that chain shot is a corker.

nice shots with the new camera Andy, nothing like a new toy to unleash some photo mojo! I really like that first pier shot especially.

Have had a brilliant weekend at Airbourne, like a total sucker I bought the little man a Red Arrow jump suit and then orchestrated a shot by one of the planes...

got a whole bunch of proper plane shots to sift through so maybe I'll share some once I've made a dent in the editing!

- love that lavender shot too Ian!

Loving the Arrows capture with the future Red ! there Lee. :)

Toby and i went along to the Combine OPS Show at Headcorn today. We had a truly smashing day and i got to take the camera out too which was a bonus. Highligh of the day was during out ride in an Armored Personnel Carrier we were set upon by the Lancaster from the BOB Memorial flight. If you check out my Facebook wall you can se it. Not sure how to put it on here.

Here are a couple of the first shots Ive got to have a play with this evening before going to bed. I think Ive walked about 10 miles today. :)

Thanks everyone.

Get to REALLY test the new box of tricks out at the Wings and Wheels air/motor show next weekend. Saturday will be spent on the hill overlooking the airfield and Sunday have tickets to the show.

Amazing that having lived within 2 miles of the airfield for the last 7 years, this will be my first visit to the show! It's only a 120 mile round trip from my new home!!!

Love the aviation shots fellas :)

Lee, your Son & Red Arrows pic is quality too ;)

I'll keep in with the theme of Aviation, a photo from Fort Myers - Buckingham Field, FL in the USA.

My one and only trip to America when I was 16.. Scanned print.
