^ Awesome shot! Next time you're going to get that close to a rocket launch, let me know. How close were you?

If steroids are illegal for athletes, should PS be illegal for models?

Oh I was way back here (external link), about 2-3 miles out. The above was taken by a remote camera that was at the pad. I'm not sure how powerful the acoustics are on a Delta IV, but I assume a person at that distance probably wouldn't survive.

won a pair of lenses on eBay for $14, Cosina 75-200 macro and vivitar 75-300 macro. Serial number 77 so built by Kobori maybe?

The vivitar is AIS, looks spotless as well as the Cosina.

Both in Nikon F mount, which means my family and friends will mooch them off of me. They all shoot Nikons.

Canon FD 50mm 1.4 SSC

SOOC jpegs on neutral settings, only resize.

It's a little soft but I think shooting in raw and some sharpening would result in much better results!

Haven't updated to LR5 so I cant process raws from the M yet.

What adapter are you using? Brand/seller? The IQ looks pretty good for an FD (I'm assuming an adapter with glass was used).

he's shooting with an EOS M so the adapter doesn't need glass.

That is a superbly sharp lens, and one of the only MF lenses I have.

I really need to hunt down some more oddball obscure lenses on ebay someday.

That makes an EOS-M really intriguing, especially for the prices they are selling for now.
