I just recognized that the poll has an added choice - "None".

I entered three decades ago. Came in 1st in one for the Intn'l Wildlife Federation, 2nd in one that toured with Kodak, & 2nd in another that I don't recall the sponsor.
I quit while I was ahead! :D

I think you mean National Wildlife Federation :) not International :)

Congrats on getting 1st place. One of my images in this years contest made it to the finals for People's Choice Award. I hope maybe some of my other entries will win something from actual judges.

I just read this post today and I did enter an image into a competition this morning. I also entered another image into a different one yesterday so I voted the 1-4.

I used to enter images daily on a site called "Digital Image Cafe" which went under a few years ago. It was just a POTD and a slap on the back however a great way to hone your skills, especially as a judge. There were prizes for POTM.

However I am proud to have two of my images published in a local contest. The company is McNally Robinson which is a book store and it is launching a book this fall. Our city photographed by people who live there. Always wanted to have an image in a book so I can check that one off the bucket list.

...I entered the Wellington Fashion Week Photographers Exposed Competition a couple of times. I won the second time. :D (external link) Its a pretty cool competition: two hours on the streets of Wellington to capture a shot, then a few hours to edit and submit.

It could have been. It was over 30 years ago.

The other one that I couldn't remember was the Industrial Photography Annual.

I guess technically one. It wasn't a high quality one either. It was a monthly Facebook contest for an amusement park. I managed to win with a few year old shot I took of one of the rides there with an HP Photosmart e470 (I think that was the model # of the camera). The prize was a pass to media day for the new ride that year, but I was still in college, had no car, and it really wasn't a ride worth skipping class over.
