Have had a brilliant weekend at Airbourne, like a total sucker I bought the little man a Red Arrow jump suit and then orchestrated a shot by one of the planes...

Bit of a long shot but I have to ask.............

Can anyone lend me a long prime for next weekend? Really would like to have a fast 300mm or similar to play with but don't have the funds to put down a full deposit for a (first) hire lens.

I'm pretty sure at http://www.lensesforhire.co.uk/ (external link) you don't need a deposit?

Unless you mean the fee to rent one?

Fee to hire is not a problem> everywhere I have looked at so far want a deposit for first time customers. After that, no problem but have never hired before so need to have a couple of K available on a card for a first time hire :(.

Morning all, after yesterday I also realised that my optec shoulder strap is getting on my nerves. I know a lot of you use Rapid straps. Is anyone selling one , or recommend where to buy. Again I want it before the weekend so mail order is probably the way. Do you get enough length in the strap for a bigger than averaged guy? Do you have to buy the bits separate or do the straps come with the mount too?

Thanks. Guys.

great company to deal with.

Well ive ordered one now, so hopefully it will do the job. I went for the Black Rapid Sport in Camo. I also went for the RC2 Manfrotto adapter so i dont have to take the tripod mount off all the time. Im looking at doing some long exposures of london next week, so that will come in handy.
