I rolled out the new Smugmug before actually testing the issues. Haven't finished setting it up. I like yours a lot, Harm. What font is that, by the way? I want to choose a new font... but not sure what to go with. Thinking of a different site design, too. Thinking of doing the top bar menu design instead of the side bar.

Not totally happy with the new Smugmug right now. Still can't get CSS stuff to work.

font - Julius Sans One

Top bar seemed neater and tidier than a side bar. Esp with most screens being widescreen now, it made sense for me to go with landscape shots for the slideshow on the homepage, that filled the screen.

I'll probably go with something similar. I agree, it's a lot cleaner. For your homepage slideshow, do you have a separate gallery for those photos? I haven't been able to locate the "collect" photos option that was on the old smugmug.

We have 9 photogs and 2 models... I'd say we're photog heavy. Plus, I haven't heard back from Alexis. I have a feeling she's bailing.

Yes. See normally I limit the size of photos someone can see. But for a homepage, I wanted a large image, that can be shrunk down without compressing the crap out of it. So I had to do an unlisted gallery - it works.

I'd like you guys to help identify some shooting locations. I haven't shot around in the city enough. We can finalize details tomorrow, no later than 3pm.

Alexis is coming. Can I get a show of hands where people would like to meet and shoot?

It seems I don't have any script fonts on my drive, so lightroom just comes up with generics. Even if I were to get illustrator, the fonts would still cost a pretty penny. Im looking into a log, just can't find fonts cost effectively. Adobe sells a package for 189.99. A bit much for fonts in my view.

I have the skills in my opinion, and at least one happy couple. Problem is my only wedding shoot do far was in an extremely dark venue. Auto iso + external flash on canon is really a bummer (it sticks at 400). And the 50 1.8 while being a great lens, simply cannot focus in low light. Lots of missed shots, lots of shots where focus was just off...etc. I had about 50 keepers and made a photo album on shutterfly that they loved...but to get to a place where I can charge 1500 for a wedding, im going to need to step my game up.
