This shot was taken as a first try of a 70cm beauty dish that I'd just had delivered then I gave it a custom SFX treatment.

To answer Harm's question (not sure if it was directed at me or just in general), I usually start with one of the SEP2's presets that gets me in the general ballpark of where I want to go with the image, and then modify from there.

gdawg, I like it, maybe a single control point on the left hand side of the house to open up the shadows through there just a tad before fading into darkness, but otherwise I really like it.

Here's one I worked up last night. I've been at a loss for a good use for the 'Copper Toner' toning options in SEP2, but think it kind of worked here (though this is the lightest version of 'copper toner' and I even tweaked that some)

Amazing work here! I haven't been to this page in a while.. My most recent Silver EFX conversion.. somehow it lacks in comparison to the amazing images shown on this page though.. lol. :P

i think thats a great image. I f it were me I might try to create some form of grad filter at the top to separate the sky a bit at the top, but thats me.
