Now that is a nice castle. And well captured too. I get an extreme urge to visit it.

So many great memories from Burg Eltz!!! Great capture. Thanks for sharing! I got so excited watching this picture. I love how you gave such strong emphasis to the bottom rocks beneath the main entrance. When I was there, I arrived from one of the trails and then left by the one you are in taking the picture. I walked a bit further down that road in order to 'frame' the castle against some leaves and branches. I hope you don't mind me sharing my own take on the castle here, I really loved the place and I am sitting on my Ecuador home thousands of miles away in front of a metal dragon bought on its gift shop :) .

I went there last fall, took the hiking trail in to get there. Only had my iphone but managed some decent shots. Nice shot of if BTW!

What a place.......these photos prompted me to read a little about this place. Pretty amazing.......a cluster of buildings owned by multiple families since the thirteenth century.

Rafa I like your perspective on that one. I would normally shy away from branches in the foreground, need to give that a shot to frame something.
