Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5L II

Unbelievable Jordan! Stunning mate. Looks like what I imagine Mars to be like

All of the shots rprocessed with ligtroom and Silver Efex Pro 2.

This was shot at Wroxeter Roman Village.. Canon 1Dx and Canon TS-E 24mm f3.5L

Wow, this thread is climbing to new levels of awesome, and I didn't think that was possible.

Love the flowers in the Alps shot and Scuff's ruins, but all these shots are very nicely done.

Jordan, we might need to refer to you as Spaceman if you keep visiting other cool planets.

Scuff, both great but the light on the second one is excellent

Thanks Mark and Eddie : ) It's funny how many people have said that shot looks like Mars. We can only hope they find something like that on Mars, I'd be excited.

On a side note, I entered the State Fair photo contest and got a 2nd place for my Kiva/lightbeam shot, really should have taken first, not sure what they were thinking ; ) My Monument Valley photo took Judges choice, and my Teton Barn shot got an honorable mention, they placed it in the wrong category by mistake which screwed me but still pretty happy. First time I've entered one of these things.

Scuff, you blow my mind every time you post. Your processing is terrific. I wish I could process B&W's as well as you ; ) Do you use a lot of dodging and burning to get that effect?

Thanks for your kind comments. A lot of pre Monochrome processing goes on with the colour file before I even get near Silver efex. Often contrast and colours are boosted beyond what would be acceptable for a colour image, but it works well when converted.

Great work guys. I agree with Rob, that palm tree shot is sweet! I haven't shot a damn thing since I've been home. However, I finally get to process things that I never got around to while traveling. I think was 3 shots stitched.
