WOAH!!! Nice!!! I just made a version of the Pringles diffuser last night so I will see what my 100mm L does for me - but I am guessing I have A LOT to learn for macro photography. Look forward to seeing more from everyone.

I tried these types of shots for the first time tonight - all I have to say is - I HAVE A LONG LONG way to go. Great results everyone. Macros have not yet become me...

Macro at 1:1 or beyond need a lot practices, used the lens more than 1 year, my keeper rate only about 10%. Go to read the macro thread, learned a lot from there.

Whist travelling, it was in my backpack. Converted to the wheels and pulled it across a road... and then... hit the gutter. Must have been a direct hit :(

When shooting 1:1 no tubes - how do you get so close to these insects??? Or are they dead and staged? I am trying but not having any success...
