Thanks all re the comments, I was very lucky with the sunset as I hardly did anything to bring out the colours.

@Penel I did get some without the head collar but I did stupidly forget to get them to put a lead rope towards the bottom of her neck.

@Andy I use these http://www.amazon.co.u​k …0&sr=8-5&keywords=sd+card I know they are 32gb but I record to raw simultaneously on a CF.

Got to go and get a new router tomorrow. Can anyone recommend one with good signal, and speeds please? Been looking at the Belkin AC1000. Mine is ok on the wired side, but the wireless is getting beyond a joke. I know I have a lot of devices connected but, c'mon. I've updated everything, and no change.

That's a cracking router but pricey. I use a Netgear DGND3700 which has very similar features. To a large extent, it depends on what you want to do with it and how many devices you want to connect wirelessly.

This is the one I went for in the end. They did have a Netgear equivalent but my step dad has that one, and its not good. I got home, plugged it in popped in the DNs settings, and away we went. At the moment, I'm at full speed everywhere in the house on all devices, and even ini the workshop which is great. I can highly recommend it.

It connects strangely though. The phone plug goes into a box on the electrical plug in the wall, so less wires to it. Nice.

Excellent. Have you tried Plex for streaming movies to your TV/iPad?

No, I haven't seen that one. To be honest I put my movies on a memory stick and plug them into my PS3 as most streaming programmes don't like 5.1, it really slows them down. That way I don't get any lag.

I will have a look into it though.

Thanks Adrian. I looked at those but then saw the 90mbs ones (twice the price) and wasn't sure which one to go for. The last thing I want is to miss a shot because the the buffer's full (not that it matters with my stuff).

You best get a 1DX

I have only once had that problem and it was the cameras buffer, the moment was then gone so I don't think the speed of the memory card would have made too much difference.

I use these in my 450d and it's the camera's buffer not the card that's the problem as Adrian said, never had a problem with one yet.
