I'd be more intimidated if they could spell surveillance!

Killjoy, I think this is the second one in a row for you to miss. I expect that since you, Gary, Ben, Skip, Kevin & Heidi, Kevin, etc., no longer come that we may be on our last legs.

I assure you, Heidi and I would be there if we could be. So please don't cancel future instances of this because I missed it this time. The only thing that lifts my spirits as regards my absence this time is the prospect of being able to make the next one!

Yes, last year we were camping during the BBQ weekend and this year we have tickets to a concert. Alas, I have no camera pass.
I have sent Lowell as my proxy last year and this. ;)

Your BBQ's have become tradition for POTN. It'd be a shame if they didn't continue. As for people not being able to make it, life does go on.

Lowell is clearly his own representative now, Alan ... there is a one year limit on proxies! Everyone claimed to have had a grand time. Hal led discussions about various software packages and the Pros and Cons of Adobe Creative Cloud. Craig is supposed to post pictures, particularly of the desserts ... there wasn't much picture taking this year.

And there is likely to be an Eighth Dwight & Marna POTN BBQ as Hal Schmitt thinks it is well worthwhile and wants to help advertise and recruit ... I am sure we will once again start having demos and tutorials as that was initially one of the big draws.

What time are the festivities?

Oh that was was soooooooooo damn good. I now need to have my friends dad send me the secret ingredient from arizona then I'm good.

Had a blast, food was great and the conversations were even better. ;)

And my prospects of making it one day. It is super nice of you and your family to host a POTN gathering each year. I follow the thread every day and vicariously look forward to it. We just returned from Las Vegas, so a trip from NY to California was just not doable. One of these days, though....

Dwight, these flies were mocking your fly deterrent.

Yes. Fortunately Alan does not control that guest bedroom. And given your (and Heidi's) issues you deserve it!

It did seem to end earlier than in past years and yes the participants are aging!

Well, after Hal Schmitt saying he thought we should beef it up rather than wind it down I guess there will be an Eighth, etc.

Yes, well that was clearly a joke article and I fell for it lock, stock and barrel! Next time perhaps I will spray something about ahead of time ... it is the only time we have a fly problem.

Craig is processing the pictures right now as I write this! It was great fun and look forward to next year! Unless you see me before then!
