Thanks everyone, was a good day indeed.

Lee, keep them coming, you are making me want a Mantis just to photo, very photogenic!

Andy, nice shot of the Wing Walker, I don't have any decent shots of them oddly..

and lastly, Happy Belated Birthday Richard :)

Not sure on the Twilight night, I want to but it just depends on work etc.

Quick question about my PP...........A friend has lent me a Macbook Pro he is selling for me to have a play with while he's on holiday. He commented the other day that my final images are a tad on the dark side when he looks at them on his iMac but look ok to him on my Dell laptop.

Anyone else finding this when looking at shots I post?

Tonight's job is to load LR5 on the Macbook and transfer some RAW shots to it to PP on that. Guess we'll see but any comments would be nice.

Ta.

That must have been a sight. I see the twilight run is 9 Nov. I would like to go, i'll have to look at the calender.

Dom, do not beat yourself up about it...............lack of Mojo hits us all from time to time and as for models 'not turning up or giving advance notice...' that is their loss though upsetting for you with the time allocated gone forever. Their bad form is sadly more about IMO modern society...............also evidenced by the "your camera takes great pics...." being said to Lee.

Laurence I've found out today what the problem is, my mojo has always been good, someone has been bad mouthing me on Facebook telling models that expect " favours " in return for shoots. There is a complicated back story to this but the short of it is the young " lady " in question was friends with Kristina and they started modeling together and while Kristina's has taken off the other's has not and she does all she can now to sabotage Kristina and now I've started working a lot with Kristina and we've become good friends. she's turned on me also.

jees guys - don't have chance to look in everyday but when I do there's pages and pages to go through. . . . so truly inspiring work mind you [thumbs up]

Going to lower the tone again now:

Our 'lot' were at Donington Park over the weekend along with the Jaguars and Triumphs, A Little damp to start off with but it soon cleared up and another full weekend of walking the circuit with the odd photo or three ensued

Few random picks. All handheld, 1Dmk4 with 70-200 2.8 mk2 plus mk3 1.4 extender.

#1 - 1/100, f/5.6, iso 100, 145mm - brief background, the guy built the car and got fed up with people saying it must be full of filler - so he sand blasted it all and runs it 'naked' Pretty quick as well

#3 - 1/250, f/4.5, iso 640, 280mm - really not sure if this idea will catch on, think glass may still work better.

I found the same Shan I went from my PC to IMac. The IMac is sooooo much clearer. Everyone's pics look better.

Nice selection from Donington, not been there for years.

Cropped to buggery but happy with the result from my 1D2. :)

Good evening folks! Lots of lovely shots on #17 already!

Spent the weekend driving around Normandy. Pretty rubbish weather, but the food and wine were good (as they always are in France). Went to the American Military Cemetery. I'm not really one for sentiment, but it was a very moving experience. When I saw this particular one though, I was literally brought to tears...
