Was doing some product shots and heard a rustle behind me. Turned around to find Miss Gizmo . Had just enough time to turn and shoot then as usual , she walked off.

Just a word to the wise in case you haven't had it happen. Watch out for the handles on those paper bags. Years ago, I had a bag like that, which of course the kitties love to explore. In the midst of Kosmo checking it out, the handle got around his neck, and he freaked out, running around the house trying to get away from the bag, which he couldn't. In the process, the handle got twisted and tightened around his neck. When I finally caught him and got him free, he was panting and stressed, but OK thankfully. It scared my kitty and me.

To this day when I bring home bags like that, the first thing I do before putting them on the floor is snip the handles in two so that can't happen again. That was a scary lesson learned.

I may be fascinated with volcanoes, but the name's Lisa.

Thank you and glad that came out ok. I've seen many kitties in the bag like that.

Thanks for the info. I have heard about that happening to others also. We don't let them have bags with handles. This is just one of those things that happened (when we do we cut the handle completely off), after the shot I picked the bag up and threw it in the trash. It was not supposed to be on the floor.

I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy it!!

Why is Pancake the wondercat?

No real reason, our cats have always ended up being "wondercats". I think it just goes with their inquisitive nature.

Thanks! You must be the first to actually like the name. Over here we speak French, and no-one can pronounce it :p

They're not really *good* photos as such, but they're nice moments of my cats, Grendel and Freyja.
