Mmmm. would fit well with a 28-70 and a 70-200 f2.8. May well be interested Mark, would be good for landscape work with 7/10 stop filters. How much are you looking for?

£320 mate This is about the ebay norm sometimes they creep upto around £340 - £350. i Will be putting it on fleabay next weekend.

Today I was trying something a bit different to my normal approach to photographing insects, which has been more as a technical record shot. I was after something more creative. The lavender in my garden is very popular with bumble bees and Small White butterflies, so I stuck the fisheye in close.

I cheated slightly - although it sometimes is as popular as this, this particular shot is a blend of three separate exposures, to boost the numbers a bit.

Hello all - Apparently my last visit here was 16th July!! No doubt far too many pics to go through, but the Deer shots are fantastic Doc.

Hoping that things might quieten down for a bit of "me time" before long & contribute something!

I got a new device (called Astrotrac) made to track the stars, for better astro shots, and finally got the chance to try it out last night. Here are some of the shots I got, after some extensive processing today. For more technical detail, see this post I wrote in the astro forum.

I'm envious Mark, were those taken from your garden, not much evidence of light pollution.

Thanks Ken, yes from the garden. I'm getting to grips with processing the light pollution out in Photoshop.

Just back from spending a few days in Bournemouth for the Airshow. Some of it was excellent, the Red Arrows for instance, but there was far too many long waits between displays.

I took a lot of photos and they will take time to work through, so forgive me for not showing any now.
